Neither expedition lead is able to identify which Expedition 47 was the "original." Post-incident review of mission records, personnel files, and equipment logs found no evidence supporting one expedition's primacy over the other. The Office of Paranormal Metrics has proposed multiple frameworks for the encounter — temporal recursion, causal duplication, parallel-instance manifestation — and has determined that the available evidence does not distinguish between them.
